The Word

The Word
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬

Our last devotional was about “Bad Translations” of the Word of God. Not the ones in black and white with some acronym to define it, but us, the living children of God, who are supposed to be following the Word of God. We are a bad translation every time we live unto ourselves instead of living of the Word.
In the beginning The Word spoke the Universe into existence.
In the beginning The Word spoke and separated light & darkness.
In the beginning The Word spoke the boundaries of the earth.
In the beginning The Word spoke and separated Heaven & Earth.
In the beginning The Word spoke all that lives and reproduces began living.
In the beginning The Word took His hands and made man from the earth and gave Him breath and made them living souls.
So, why do we doubt that this same Word cannot speak into our lives and make it new?
Why do we do everything our way before we turn to The Way?
Why do we walk around in our old dead flesh instead of allowing The Word to breath life into us?
We don’t live in “the beginning”, but we can allow The Word to give us a New Beginning today!
