Worthy of It All
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
Revelation 4:11
Do you know why you are here? I mean the very why of your existence? It has been a question that billions have asked in and of themselves, whether philosophically or physically. It leads some to an existential crises in an attempt to figure out why we exist.
Search no further! I can tell you without any reservations exactly why you are here. I know why you and I exist. I know to what end we have been brought to our plane of existence...are you ready?!?! For God’s Pleasure!!!
Now some may start thinking, “yeah, God made us to toy with us and laugh as our lives go into a chaotic mess”...and you would be WRONG in thinking that way...you would only profess, to me at least, that you don’t know God.
In Revelation we see an account where these spiritual beings are portrayed whose entire existence is to surround God and sing, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is to come!” When they do what they were designed to do, it causes the leaders of heaven...I mean the people we think were these mighty christians, fall on their faces and cry out, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
Did you catch that?!?! They tell us why we exist! Why we were created and to what end we are here on our plane of existence...for God’s pleasure! God delights in loving His creation, you and I. He is excited when we turn to Him in an understanding that we are Here for Him. He wants you to know Him like He knows you...let that simmer for a bit.
