Preparing to Praise
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”

I know there will be some of you that read this that my perspective may not make a lot of sense to you but I ask that you try to step out of your comfort zone and try this anyways!
We have a GREAT HEAVENLY FATHER! He loves His children! He loves hearing from His children. He loves the praises of His children! Today is the Lord’s Day! It is Sunday! It is His Day to spend with His kids! Think about that for a moment.

I love spending time with my kids! All of them. The ones that I raised, the ones the love, and the ones their love have brought into this family! I love it when they just love me! It is sweet! I love it when they appreciate who I am to them and what I do for them and when they express it. It makes me feel, well, loved and appreciated! So, if I love how I am loved by those I love...imagine how the ONE WHO IS LOVE feels when those He loves love Him!

Here is where it might get uncomfortable for some of you...when you go to church today, spend the car ride there just praising God for Who He has been, is being, and will be to you. Thank Him for all that He is to you! Lavish Him with praises! Then, when you get here, don’t let it stop! Share with someone at church a praise you have for Jesus! Then, when it’s time to sing about the Goodness of God...SING! Let’s let our Heavenly Father know just how we feel about Him today...just so you know, you WILL show Him.
